That is the question you hear most as an owner of a Thai Ridgeback. They are a pure breed native to Thailand. Thai’s are medium sized dogs, very clean with a velvety low maintenence coat. There are four recognized colors blue, black, red and fawn (yellow) with each color having varying shades. Most striking about their appearance is the ridge growing along the spine that is formed by hair growing in the opposite direction of the rest of the coat. Thai’s are muscular, agile and extremely intelligent. They are affectionate, loyal and make a great family dog.
